Insurance for Speedpost Express Service is available at 3% of the declared value on the consignment note and shipping invoice, subject to a minimum of $30 per shipment. The maximum insured value per shipment is $20,000. Insurance for Speedpost Worldwide Services (except Speedpost Express) is available at 1.5% of the declared value on the consignment note and shipping invoice, subject to a minimum of $5 per shipment. This service is for mailers who send large quantities of printed paper items to a single addressee at regular or frequent intervals. Posting is accepted only at the Bulk Mail Centre 10 Eunos Road 8 East Entrance #01-38 Singapore Post Centre Singapore 408600. The minimum weight limit for each bag is 5 kg and maximum limit is 30 kg (to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, United Kingdom and Uzbekistan, the maximum weight shall be 20 kg). The items cannot be registered or insured.
All mail items up to 2 kg may be accepted for registration provided the service is available to the country of destination.
Registered Article is a Sign-For service that requires a signature on delivery in Singapore and most destinations.
Simply top-up S$3.60 to your Overseas Ordinary Mail item (Airmail only).
You can also track your item’s status (for selected countries). This service is ideal for confidential or important items which require special handling, processing and accountability.
A certificate of posting may be obtained for any unregistered postal article upon payment of an additional fee of 20 cents at the time of posting.
The International Reply Coupons are intended to provide a means of prepayment for replies by post. These coupons may be exchanged in any country of the Universal Postal Union for a stamp or stamps representing the minimum postage applicable for an unregistered letter to any country by airmail.
Selling Price and Exchange Value
The selling price for an International Reply Coupon at Singapore Post Offices is at $2.50. The International Reply Coupons presented at Singapore Post Offices will be exchanged for stamps amounting to $1.40. International Reply Coupons issued have expiry dates printed on them. Refer to the front of the coupons for the expiry date.
P.O. Box service allows you to rent a letter box from Singapore Post and have your mail kept in security when you are conducting contests, away on vacation, business trips or if you are simply looking for total privacy. For more details, please refer to PO Box webpage.
Poste Restante is a free service for a limited period for the delivery of travellers' mail over the counter at Paya Lebar Post Office Branch at 10 Eunos Road 8, #01-123/124/125, SingPost Centre, Singapore 408600.
Mail Redirection service allows your mail to be sent to your new address until you have settled down and informed your friends and business associates of your change of address.
Mail Retention service allows your mail to be kept safely at the post office when you are away for an extended period of time and protects your home by not allowing strangers to know you have been out for some time. Details are available at Retain Mail webpage.
A fee of $20.00 (plus prevailing GST) per article is charged for the reclaim of mail.
This service is for the convenience of customers for the ordering of goods and services through the mail.
A fee of $2.00 is payable by the addressee of each postal article on which customs duty is leviable.
Postage stamps are available in denominations of 5¢, 20¢, 30¢, 45¢, 50¢, 55¢, 65¢, 80¢, $1.10, $2, $5 and $10. Also available are No-Value-Indicator (NVI) stamps, which do not bear a printed postage value but can be used on local mail up to the basic weight step. Postage stamps are available in the form of labels, loose pieces, stamp sheets, sheetlets, and booklets.
Postal stationery items available consist of stamped light air letter forms (aerogrammes), Postpac envelopes and cartons, Postubes, prepaid envelopes, security envelopes and international reply coupons.
