Hellenic Post has advised that heavy rainstorms have been causing flooding and landslides in many areas of the country (particularly in the centre and north) since 5 September 2023.
As a result, many of Hellenic Post’s domestic operations (collection, transportation and delivery) have been disrupted. The transportation and processing of inbound and outbound mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) are affected and, consequently, delays are to be expected in the delivery of mail throughout Greece.
