Poczta Polska has updated that the flood threat in south-western Poland has now passed, and intensive work is currently underway to rebuild the destroyed buildings and technical infrastructure. The Polish Government has declared the end of the state of natural disaster.
However, in many regions, mail collection, transport and delivery operations remain difficult owing to closed roads and destroyed bridges. Service delays are still expected.
