Poste Italiane has advised that owing to adverse weather conditions affecting the Emilia Romagna and Calabria regions on 20 and 21 October, which have led to disruption of the road system and evacuation of some municipalities, particularly in the Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia and Catanzaro areas, the collection and delivery of domestic and international mail is subject to severe disruption.
Poste Italiane is taking all necessary steps to minimise inconvenience for its customers and restore connections with the affected areas as soon as possible.
Delays are to be expected in the delivery of letters, parcels and EMS items.
