Latvijas Pasts has advised that heavy snow throughout Latvia since 2 December has led to delayed deliveries owing to poor road conditions. A red warning has been issued in the Riga area.
Consequently, transport and delivery operations in Latvia, for both inbound and outbound letter-post and parcel-post items, are disrupted. Despite the weather conditions, Latvijas Pasts will endeavour to deliver all mail, but there may be delays.
