bpost has advised that the major Belgian unions have called a 24-hour interprofessional strike, commencing at 00.01 CET (UTC+1) on Thursday, 13 February 2025. The strike may be extended to Friday, 14 February 2025.
This industrial action is likely to affect letter-post and parcel-post deliveries, as well as bpost’s domestic and international logistics network.
The strike will also involve ground handlers and other airport and airline personnel. Therefore, disruption and delays are to be expected in the handling of inbound and outbound airmail dispatches at Brussels Airport.
