Due to recent regulatory changes by U.S. Customs, Speedpost Express is currently experiencing transit delays of several days for shipments to the United States where the declared customs value exceeds USD 800 (approximately SGD 1,080).
Effective Monday, 21 April 2025, and until further notice:
- Speedpost Express will temporarily suspend the collection and shipping of business-to-consumer (B2C) shipments destined for private individuals in the United States with a declared customs value above USD 800.
- Shipments—both business-to-business (B2B) and B2C—with a declared customs value below USD 800 are not affected and will continue to be processed as usual.
- B2B shipments to U.S. companies with a declared value above USD 800 are not subject to this suspension; however, these shipments may also experience transit delays.
We recommend all customers ensure that customs declarations are accurate and complete to avoid further delays or returns. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to comply with the latest U.S. Customs requirements.
