Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Postal Corporation (SVG Post) has updated that following the damage caused by the passage of Hurricane Beryl on 1 July 2024, the postal facilities in Union Island, Mayreau and Canouan are unable to provide postal services to the residents of those communities.
However, residents of those communities can still access postal services in the nearby islands of Mustique and Bequia, and also in Kingstown on the mainland, until the necessary infrastructure is put back in place.
As a result of this disruption, delays are to be expected in the processing of letter-post and parcel-post items.
