PHLPost has advised that a fire has devastated the Manila Central Post Office – a heritage building with “important cultural property” status in the Philippines. The fire resulted in the destruction of machines, office equipment, vehicles and stamp collections. PHLPost is making every effort to recover from this heartbreaking event and to resume operations as quickly as possible. However, delays are to be expected with regard to all mail items sent for delivery in Manila.
