Paositra Malagasy has advised that the northern and eastern regions of Madagascar were severely hard by Cyclone Gamane on 27 March 2024. Floods are still impeding the movement of mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS) between the office of exchange and delivery offices in these regions, causing delays in mail exchange and delivery. Power cuts and the destruction of certain infrastructures are also causing delays in the input of events and transmission of the associated data.
