The designated operator of Lebanon, LibanPost, has informed that Lebanon entered a state of war on 19 September 2024.
As a result, there have been many flight cancellations and closed roads (especially in the south of Lebanon, as well as in some locations in the centre of the country and Beirut), in addition to security restrictions in opening certain post office branches and reaching sensitive and closed areas, which will negatively affect LibanPost’s performance and service-level agreements. The scope of the impact is yet to be determined.
LibanPost wishes to emphasise that it is doing its utmost to maintain its service levels, although the situation is difficult and the consequences are unclear at this stage.
