Poste Italiane has updated us of a special process for induction and delivery of postal items in the municipalities of Cogne and Aymavilles starting from 9 July 2024 as follows:
1) For national and international correspondence, every Tuesday and Friday an employee will make deliveries to the Cogne Post Office located in Via Bourgeois 18/B, after verifying the identity of the recipients or, where permitted, their delegates (upon presentation of the relevant delegation). The shipments that are not collected in this way will inevitably be returned to the senders, with evidence - on the envelopes and/or any receipt notices/delivery certificates - of the natural disaster that occurred.
2) For national and international parcels, taking into account their characteristics and dimensions, the recipients will be contacted in advance to define the delivery methods.
Despite the measures taken, there may still be delays in the collection and delivery of national and international correspondence and parcel shipments.
