The public can join in guided tours of SingPost’s mail processing centre at the event, to learn more about how mail arrives at their letterboxes.

There will also be two booths presented by strategic partners - HSBC Life and the Infocomm Media Development Authority’s SG Digital Office (SDO).

The SDO booth will allow participants to take a Digital Health Check quiz and learn how to stay safe online such as by creating strong passwords. SDO will also be conducting Digital for Life: Learn Digital workshops at the Open House.

The SingPost Open House Activities

Step into the shoes of our postal workers for a day

Participants can look forward to experiencing our postal worker’s day at work through five time-based station games at the Open House. Each of these stations feature an actual activity that our postal workers carry out on a daily basis when processing or delivering mail.

  • The Postal Puzzle

This game station is inspired by the ‘Rush Hour Traffic Jam’ board game, where participants have to fit irregularly shaped blocks into SingPost’s smartpac cartons.

  • Give-A-Weigh

Participants have to make guesses on the weight of various parcels sent out by SingPost.

  • Confirm + Chop

This game station will see participants challenge themselves in filling up a printout with special slogan dies created for commemorating 165 years of postal services in Singapore.

  • Sorting Spree

Participants will be tasked to sort a pile of mail into delivery sacks according to area codes.

  • Letter Lingo

This game station pays tribute to a department in SingPost that is dedicated to deciphering handwritten addresses; participants are to decode letters with addresses written in nearly illegible handwriting.

Mail Processing Facility Tour

Members of the public can register their interest in a free 30 minutes guided tour of SingPost’s mail processing facilities. Interested participants can sign up for the tour here: https://165.singpost.com/facilitytour

Popstation Bonanza

Participants who collect at least six stamps on their event scorecard can pick a locker at the POPStaion Bonanza station for an attractive gift which includes exclusive SingPost merchandise, shopping vouchers, and even an iPad Pro or Apple Watch.

Philately Corner

Stamp collectors and enthusiasts must not miss out on the Philately corner, where participants can use a SingPost datestamp and exclusive event cachet to decorate a postcard for keepsake purposes. Alternatively, those who wish to send out a postcard may utilise the supplies provided at the mailing box station.

Travel through time with SingPost

The SingPost Open House will also feature exhibition panels and a chain reaction wall chronicling the brand’s history.

The chain reaction wall is an interactive paper cut-out 3D wall which features a continuous track against an illustrated backdrop of historical SingPost milestones, with a small SingPost ball that participants can drop and roll down the wall.
